Looking for ways to help your students with numeracy in physics? We are running a free virtual training session for teachers on Wednesday 4th May, 4-5pm to help you.

Students are often put off physics because of its numeracy demands, such as rearranging and using formulae or interpreting graphs. This workshop is aimed at physics teachers, especially if you are an early-career teacher or teaching outside your specialism. We will support your maths skills and show you practical strategies for your classroom, such as maths-last, the power of per and FIFA – to build your confidence and that of your students.

The course will be led by Christina Astin, an experienced education consultant and physics teaching trainer, who spent over 25 years as a school teacher and leader.
