External communications

Communicating with external stakeholders about your school’s partnership activities can be time-consuming and the messaging can be challenging.

  • How do we portray our partnerships to the public via the school website?
  • How do we keep our partner schools in the loop?
  • What do we say to prospective parents about what their child will learn through partnerships?
  • How do we report on impact, or communicate about activities to the local community, the press?

Join me and Rachel Kerr from AMCIS (Admissions, Marketing and Communications in Independent Schools) as we explore some ways of thinking about external comms in this burgeoning area of school life. AMCIS contributed a section on partnerships communications for the Partnerships WorkBook which is available to download as an e-book or buy in print copy form.

We have removed the need to register, so the zoom link will be shared securely as follows:

In the interests of sector balance, colleagues from independent schools are encouraged to invite state school partners to attend the meeting and vice versa.

If this is your first Breakfast Briefing, then you are warmly welcome and we look forward to meeting you and introducing you to colleagues working in the same space. To join the mailing list for future events, please visit this page.

Breakfast briefings are free to all. If you would like to make a contribution to admin costs, please visit our Buy Me A Coffee page – thank you. (We can also provide an invoice if that is easier to process at your school.)
