I’m delighted to be teaming up with the ASE to deliver a free webinar for teachers about this exciting new STEM careers resource, People Like Us.
“You can’t be what you can’t see!” – this is the principle behind an exciting new resource aimed at providing STEM careers inspiration to pupils, and helping schools to meet the Gatsby Benchmarks around good career guidance.
People Like Us is a brand new digital platform aimed at challenging misconceptions around careers in science. Aimed at ages 9-14, the website features people who come from very ordinary (and often quite challenging) backgrounds who have found STEM jobs that they absolutely love, inspiring engagement through video and an innovative guessing game.
In this free webinar, I will be joined by some of the team behind the resource to introduce the resource and share some tried and tested ideas about how to deploy it in the classroom.
