School partnerships strategy
Challenge
The Headteacher of an independent all-through school wanted to turn an ad hoc series of partnership projects into a coherent programme to anchor the school in the local community more strongly and bring opportunities for students beyond the school gates.
What we did
We scrutinised the whole school development plan, mission and values; carried out an audit of existing projects; spent a day at the school listening to key colleagues; worked with colleagues to devise a strategic programme with clear aims and measurable outcomes; then mentored the new Head of Partnerships to support the adoption of the strategy.
